Hello Kitty x Bratz Jade: A Review

VERDICT: WORTH IT
Dear Reader,
Oh Hello Kitty Jade where do I even begin with you? Your beret is adorable, your long silky hair is gorgeous, and your outfit is one of the strongest in the Hello Kitty x Bratz lineup. In fact, it is the strongest-- assuming Hello Kitty Sasha isn't real (check out my Hello Kitty Sasha Conspiracy article here). Even though your face card isn't quite as strong as the rest of the girls, you are still a beauty.
OH AND, we need your cold shoulder sweater and plaid skirt. On Wednesday we wear pink... plaid skirts. If you've been following my restyles, you may have suspected that I must actively stop myself from reaching for this skirt every single time. Maybe it's my Catholic school background that makes me so partial to a good plaid skirt (👀too bad for you guys I missed the Pretty N' Punk line). But enough about me, we're here to talk about Hello Kitty Jade 💅✨.
What I Love About Hello Kitty Jade:
Her Eye Detail: inspired by the anime eye look of Bratz Tokyo a Go-Go line
Her Hat: adorable Hello Kitty Beret really gives her some personality
Her Outfit: Uhh yes please. We love her fit. The cold shoulder sweater is detailed with 2 ribbon bows on either side of her brrr🥶shoulder. No but seriously, her outfit is the cutest of the 3 girls so far (minus the shoes). And I would be lying if I didn't say I mostly got her because of it. Love those pink plaid restyles😩
Her Hair: her hair is so long when taken down, it reaches her heels! I usually keep factory hairstyles unless I think it takes away from the whole look. I would've kept the original hairstyle, but I also like her hair down!
Her (Original) Hairstyle: Her hair is so silky that one of the rubber bands slid off and undid the twists. I did like the look, very early Jade coded. It was almost like MGA remembered what makes Jade Jade!!!
What I Don't Love About Hello Kitty Jade:
No Earrings or Earring Holes: Okay I'll ask again, why did they only give Hello Kitty Cloe earrings?!
Her Shoes: It's a no from me, dog. Clownlike (IMO). The shoe mold isn't bad by itself, and neither is the fuchsia color. But together they look clownish because that fuchsia is so harsh. It's not terrible but I would've loved a dainty heel with the skirt but maybe Jade would be bolder in her style👀
Lip Color: Kinda underwhelmed by a red lipped Jade. Not that she isn't absolutely working it though!
If you're a Jade fan or considering buying Hello Kitty Jade, I would totally say, go for it. I may have a few (very small) complaints, but her outfit completely carries! Her twists, her beret, her sweater and skirt are some of my favorite details from the entire Hello Kitty x Bratz collab! Her face card could be giving a little bit more, but I actually really like this screening of Jade overall. So yes-- she is absolutely WORTH IT💅
