Stylin' Birthdayz Sasha: A Review

VERDICT: MUST COLLECT
Dear Reader,
OMG guys. You may have missed the memo, but I am here to tell you: Stylin' Birthdayz Sasha is BEAUTIFUL!!! If you're wondering what she looks like in real life, she is quickly becoming one of my favorite dolls— little whipped cream cherry shoes and all!!
If you're like me, you always remember which doll grabs your attention first from every line! I knew most fan's eyes would be on Stylin' Birthdayz Jade because of her purple streak. I can confidently say this because she sold out almost immediately! I saw her purple money pieces, but I didn't feel that draw. You guys know what I'm talking about, because you might've had it about Jade! However, DO NOT underestimate Stylin' Birthdayz Sasha. She immediately drew my eye because of how beautiful and delicate her face looked. I didn't know if it was the fur from her jacket making her face seem so soft, or if it was something about her expression...
Why does she look like she's romanticizing her melancholic solitude? She looks forlorn🤣— but in the best way. She's contemplating something. I wonder if she's reflecting on how tragic her purse execution is. All jokes aside a fabric purse would've been the cherry on top of this outfit, instead of the cherry on top of an unfortunate shoe 🍒👀. No but really, if they did the accessories right, this line would've been TOP TIER imo.
What I Love About Stylin' Birthdayz Sasha:
Her Eye Detail: Her eye detail is reminiscent of peppermint candy and even seems to glow in certain lighting!
Her Eye Shape: Her eye shape matches the rest of the girls in this line. This eye shape is new for line (see my close-up Sasha screening comparisons here)
Her Eyebrows: Her eyebrows are lighter than usual, which may contribute to why her expression seems softer than normal.
Her Hair Color: I'm loving the white/yellow highlights in her hair! They remind me a little of Pop Starz Sasha's highlights. It's always nice getting some color variation because I get tired of all one solid hair color sometimes. The color also pairs nicely with her outfit.
Her Lip Color: her lip color is a deep plum, but it looks sooo good on Sasha. It compliments her features beautifully.
Her Blush: omg gotta love a good blush. It's noticeable without being overdone!
Her Shoe Mold: okay I actually LOVE the shoe mold (minus the whipped cream and cherry). Can we please get some regular shoes in this mold that aren't birthday'd?
Her Shirt: I love a yellow Sasha— I will always think of Kill Bill Scorchin' Sasha anytime I see her in a yellow-themed outfit. She absolutely kills the yellow. I love the fur, lace, and yellow. SUCH a combination, it's a miracle it turned out as pretty as it did! So gorgeous. Just missing a little birthday tiara🥲
What I Don't Love About Stylin' Birthdayz Sasha:
Her Hairstyle: the ponytail is cute, but I don't like her bangs/front piece and how they curve in. I don't like extra cripsy bang pieces. Although I do think they add a little to her whimsy!
Her Purse: Her purse is a mini-Prada and definitely could've used a little more detail.
Her Skirt: While I love the material of the skirt, it doesn't photograph very nicely. The two layers are only connected in the back, so it's a little wonky
Her Jewelry: the yellow finish on the jewelry pieces makes them look cheap. Although the color itself isn't bad, it clashes with the yellow in her outfit. She can only pull it off because of her beautiful screening.
Although I love Stylin' Birthdayz Sasha, I had trouble photographing and restyling her. Nothing seems to go with her outfit pieces! Her little cake shoes are so festive that they made me want to pair them with the Santa dress instead! I think she turned out adorable. I truly believe this line would've been so much better received if they had put a little more thought into the accessories! But friends, I would not miss out on this Sasha doll. She is absolutely beautiful and definitely a MUST COLLECT!
