VERDICT: WORTH IT

Dear Reader,
Take your sequins jacket off and stay awhile. Your Popstarz outfit theme is hiding your true beauty!!! At least, that's how it seems for Pop Starz Cloe and now Pop Starz Sasha! When I saw Pop Starz Sasha, I knew I was going to get her! Her lavender-colored outfit and highlights are what immediately drew my eye and I have to say, I think Sasha is stunning with purple eye shadow and lip color. Maybe it's the olive-green eye color that pops with the purple eye shadow, but the colors are beautiful. She reminds me of Fashion Pixiez Sasha whose make up is also very purple and also very complimentary. I don't have Pixiez Sasha but her makeup painting/screening is one of my favs of Sasha because of the purple shimmer. Pop Starz Sasha, although no purple shimmer, doesn't need it! Her makeup looks beautiful as is and the main reason why I love her!!!

What I like about Pop Starz Sasha:
Eye Makeup: beautiful and sophisticated looking. Not too fanatical, not too campy. Realistic enough to where I'd believe she'd do her makeup like this to leave the house
Eye Color: a pretty green, more olive-y in tone than her other eye colors the past couple of years
Lip Color: subtle but complimentary-- I hate when a lip is too bold and takes away from the eye makeup, but this is super complimentary imo.
Unique Hair Color and Style: duhh, the light purple highlights ofc are beautiful!! Also love that her hairstyle shows off the highlights!
Shoes: I think they're a cute mold and they also have a tiny gold "B" painted in the middle
Earrings: the gold stars are perfect, any gold accessory on Sasha works
What I DONT like about Pop Starz Sasha:
Outfit: in all honestly and in no hate, it's kinda tacky but NOT in a bad way. Just too many sequins. If you're a doll collector, you know sometimes you may not be a fan of the doll but want the outfit she's wearing. Well in this case, it is the opposite for me. I wanted the doll but I feel like her outfit is missing something. It isn't bad, but in comparison, imo, nothing beats Pop Starz Yasmin's outfit for this specific line!!! Don't get me wrong, her outfit is cute, I do think its pop star glam-y which fits the vibe, it's just not my favorite of the line.
Shoe Holes: my Pop Starz Sasha's shoe holes were too big for my Bratz stands, although that might be a quality control issue, I'm not for certain. She is the first of all of my Bratz that this has happened with.
Belt: Um excuse me, where is her belt? I wish she had one! Although the purple looks good, it needs another color to anchor the abundance of shiny lavender! Perhaps some sort of black or gold belt. Pop Starz Yasmin has a belt, and Pop Starz Cloe has a belt and chain! Where is Pop Starz Sasha's? I keep picturing a gold hoop Y2k belt complimenting her nicely. I love when Sasha has gold accessories, it's so beautiful with her skin tone.
Baldini Confirmed: though it's not as bad as it sounds. She does have a lot of hair, much more than what I was expecting. The hair is rooted into a middle part but stops at her crown, so there is a bald spot unless the hair is brushed over to cover it. HOWEVER... other than that spot, her hair is beautiful and curly and abundant!

So should you get Pop Starz Sasha? I would say YES!!! I love my Lovely Lavender Lady! Even with her little bald spot in the back. Her face and makeup paint are what sell her for me. I cannot wait until I open Pop Starz Jade and photograph all the Pop Starz together-- I think they might be one of my favorite Bratz Doll lines of recent years. Their theme is cute and mostly well executed, but what excites me the most is restyling these dolls. You can really see their beauty shine through without the sequins, ear mics, and guitars distracting you!
