VERDICT: MUST COLLECT

Dear Reader,
As a collector, part of the fun of collecting is the suspense. Sometimes the reality of a new doll might not match what we were picturing. Sometimes they fall short, and sometimes they exceed expectations. Sometimes a doll might look better in their box, while others may need to be opened and restyled.
Pop Starz Yasmin sits in a unique position because I knew she was beautiful, but I didn't know I would love her this much. When I first saw the Pop Starz, she was the one I immediately ordered. She is completely divine and absolutely, without a doubt, one of my favorite Bratz dolls in my whole collection. If I was away at war, I would write letters to her. No but really, she is my muse, because it's so hard to take a bad photograph of her.

Most of the time I think MGA does Yasmin pretty well, her face screenings are usually some of the prettiest in my opinion (except for Alwayz Bratz Yasmin👀👀, please don't get me started lol *shudders*👀). If you're curious how Pop Starz Yasmin compares to the rest of her recent releases, I put together a side-by-side collage featuring every Yasmin doll released from 2024-2026. I will forever kick myself for not ordering the 20th Anniversary Yasmin reproduction doll when she was a normal price. She is also a beautiful doll, but Pop Starz Yasmin might take the cake completely. The thing about this doll is that her beauty astonishes me every single time. Her guitar, microphone, and shiny jacket, although necessary for the theme of the line I understand, TOTALLY distract from her beauty. I originally bought her for her outfit since I love her skirt. Not only did she have the best outfit from the line (imo ofc), but she also had the best screening (besides Sasha), so I decided to add her to my collection.

What I Love About Pop Starz Yasmin:
Her Color Theme: We need more light pink Yasmin outfits/hair!! Omg imagine a Yasmin with some pastel pink hair all around and not just highlights👀👀👀
Her Hairstyle: her high ponytail is totally giving Ariana Grande
Her Hair Color: strawberry blonde with light pink highlights adds to this warm golden-brown glow she exudes!
Her Makeup: Her makeup is giving a natural, clean girl look. It is just subtle enough to highlight her beauty and not overwhelm it.
Her Outfit: My favorite of the line, no question. I knew I wanted her for her face and skirt! Always love me some pleated skirts and this one is so cute all around-- the light pink color, the fabric, the shiny belt that matches the jacket with a gold buckle-- chefs kiss.
What I Don't Love About Pop Starz Yasmin:
Possible Baldini: I've read that her hair is on the thinner side, usually that's the case with these types of factory hairstyles with ponytails. I have not yet taken her hair down and actually don't plan to with this specific doll. If I ever do, I'll of course update!!
Hmm idk: really can't think of any other complaints besides maybe a big pop star bow might've been cute

If you are questioning whether or not to get this doll, I will 100% say YES, GET HER. Every collection needs a Pop Starz Yasmin 100%. Her golden-brown skin and eyes, along with the color combinations for her hair, truly transform her into a Golden Goddess during the golden hour. She is serving the clean-girl, makeup look and I'm not sure if she can be accurately compared to any other doll in my collection. She is truly one of a kind!!!
