Update on Hello Kitty Sasha

Dear Reader,
While it is approaching July 2026, collectors have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of Hello Kitty Sasha. We were told she would be shipping out late June for those that were lucky enough to preorder her. MGA recently sent emails to those who did preorder her, stating that she is now expected to arrive in the middle of July. They apologized of course and offered a 20% discount and the ability to cancel the order if customers are unhappy with the wait. The wait is annoying, ESPECIALLY because the Bratz collecting community seemingly had to BULLY MGA into giving us Hello Kitty Sasha in the first place.
Although it is nice of them to acknowledge our frustration, it is speculation amongst collectors that MGA tried to go without a Hello Kitty Sasha originally. While in the past it was common to drop lines missing one or more of the Core Four, the community is really fed up with MGA's choices when it comes to these revival lines. It seems they're having trouble understanding what their fanbase actually appreciates and wants. I have quite a few tips coming for them, and I'm just a casual collector.
There are some rumors that Hello Kitty wave 2 will feature Kumi and Fianna as well, but this is only gossip at this time. The rumors are that Kumi would have a Kuromi inspired design and Fianna would have a Pompompurin inspired design. While this may be what the fandom wants, nothing has been confirmed. The rumors are partly fueled by the confusion of the delayed release of Hello Kitty Sasha. Is she a part of Wave 1 Hello Kitty x Bratz that was just a late addition, or is she the introduction to Wave 2 that includes Kumi and Fianna? If MGA wanted to cover their a** for gaslighting us about Hello Kitty Sasha, then maybe they'd rush to give us an impromptu Wave 2. Is that why she is running late?
Anyway, we will hopefully know by July 17th if Hello Kitty Sasha is just an addition or the face of the second wave. We will FOR SURE know, however, what her purse finally looks like. I thought all of the Hello Kitty x Bratz purses were so cute and much more detailed than other purses of OTHER lines (*side eye* Bratz Stylin' Birthday I'm talking about your purses which are absolutely tragic). Some collectors think Hello Kitty Sasha has the best outfit of the line and I would definitely agree. I hope she lives up to her expectations!
