VERDICT: WORTH IT

Dear Reader,
Before you read further-- yes, you need her. Ngl I was hesitant at first about the spidery eye lashes and hairstyle. What sold me on Pop Starz Cloe were her ice blue eyes, which are really sooo dramatic when paired with the black eyeliner and eye shadow. The spidery eye lashes actually compliment the exaggerated pop performer look and draw you into her beautiful face! Pop Starz Cloe looks stunning out of the box, although her hair needed a good wash like most girls to get the gel creases to relax! She is worth the buy and I haven't even taken her hair down yet LOL.
I don't even care if she's a baldini (it's not bad, more on that below). I still plan to let her hair down at some point, but I like to appreciate the doll in their original hairstyles before I take them out!!!

Red plaid is an interesting choice for Cloe, as she is historically associated with baby blues and whites. I've noticed MGA has been switching up the color codes, which I find interesting. Pop Starz Jade is actually the Bratz with the blue themed outfit of this line. I can't say I don't like it though, because otherwise we wouldn't have gotten such a hot red and black, punk-coded Pop Starz Cloe! She is a beauty and she reminds me of my Blink 182 days. I totally appreciate the pop punk look they were going for with her. I'm glad I didn't skip out on her, because her hair color is unique from all of the other Cloe's of these modern lines!
What I Love About Pop Starz Cloe:
Her Theme: imo its well-executed. The outfit, hair, screening, all very cohesive to her aesthetic
Her Hair: I love the red and black lowlights that match her pop punk look, paired with the platinum blonde, it screams Avril Lavigne. The colors also contrast with her eyes in the greatest way possible
Her Eyes: the ice blue color of her eyes almost glow in some pics, they instantly draw you to her!
Her Outfit: I love her outfit-- the skirt is more detailed than I thought it would be (her belt and chain 😩). It's layered with pink satin-y material, then some fishnet material, with the plaid fabric on top. It is totally Y2K Pop Punk. I actually didn't even realize the shirt under her jacket was also plaid until I unboxed her. I don't know what I assumed was under there, but I sure didn't think it would turn out as hot as it does, like... HELLO 🤣

What I Don't Love About Pop Starz Cloe:
Her Jacket: I get it, it's supposed to be edgy, it's just so harsh and there is such a difference with it on vs off!
Possible Baldini: I'm here to say no, she isn't noticeably bald. I believe Pop Starz Cloe and Sasha have been rooted similarly. They both have a good volume of hair, but the thickness stops right at the base of the crown. I think Pop Starz Sasha's bald spot is more noticeable because her hair is curly so it may curl away and leave more of a gap, whereas Cloe has straight hair that mostly covers her bald spot because it lays flatter. I'm adding a photo for reference and only mentioning it because I have read that some of the Pop Starz are baldinis and that is usually my first question when I'm trying to decide whether or not I want a particular doll.

Pop Starz Cloe's Hair from the Back
I've noticed (like almost all of the Pop Starz) that the guitar, microphone, and jacket almost hide how gorgeous these dolls actually are. Not that the little accessories aren't cute and the theme isn't giving, but you may miss out on Pop Starz Cloe's unique screening if you aren't paying attention. I'm so happy I have her in my collection and will post her hair restyles once I've taken it down! Red, black, and platinum blonde are such a choice, and I love that they're peak-a-boo. They almost look like they can be completely hidden with her hair down, which will make restyling her interesting! Definitely wondering how else I can style this particular beauty... So yes, if you're on the fence, I'd for sure say get her!!
